In 2006 we obtained a handwritten letter from farmer Mark Newman inquiring us if Heritage Foods would ever contemplate offering his pasture raised old-fashioned Berkshire pigs. We stated yes along with a connection grew that still carries on right now, now through his son David who's got preserved the genetic line of Berkshires which may be traced
